IGNOU Regional Centre Admission 2026-27
The Indira Gandhi National Open University offers multiple courses in all the regional centres through open, online, and distance education modes. Students applying for this academic year 2026-27 should learn all the information about the regional centres before applying for admission. The registration form is ongoing for all the programs in IGNOU. It has over 69 regional centres in various districts with a vast range of programs, and applicants can choose according to their preferences. IGNOU Application Process:-

Delhi Regional Centre:
Delhi Regional Centre was established in 1989; fortunately, after the establishment of the original “Delhi Regional Centre”, it was divided into two regional centres. The first one is Delhi Regional Centre -1 covers areas like Chanakyapuri, Faridabad, Ashram, Hauzkhas, Vasant Vihar, Saket, Green Park, Mehrauli, Lajpat Nagar, etc. The second Delhi Regional Centre-2 covers areas of North Delhi, North-East Delhi, East Delhi, and Central Delhi. It begins with 19 study centres.
Students who want to enrol in IGNOU Delhi Regional Centre should now apply for their respective courses. The admission process is now ongoing in various UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate courses. Candidates are advised to get well-informed regarding admission to their chosen regional centre before applying for admission. Patna Regional Centre:
The Patna Regional Centre is inviting applications for multiple Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, and certificate programs. The Patna Regional Centre was the first regional centre in Bihar and involved a total of 33 study centres, 10 of which came under the Ranchi Regional Centre, and 20 came under the Patna Regional Centre.
Patna Regional Centre Admission 2026-27:
Patna Regional Centre provides a huge range of UG, PG, Diploma, and certificate courses in multiple specialised programs such as BA, BTS, BCA, BSW, BPP, MA, M.Ed, MCA, MLIS, etc. Students need to fulfil all the eligibility requirements to apply for these courses, like applicants who have qualified for 12th can apply for UG admission. Those with a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks are eligible to apply for PG admission. The fee for registration is under INR 300, and you have to make the payment through online mode only. Candidates can apply for this academic session till 31 January 2026*.

IGNOU Mumbai Regional Centres:
IGNOU Mumbai Regional Centre is inviting fresh admissions to the academic session 2026-27 in various UG, PG, Certificate, and Diploma programs from online, Distance, and open education modes. All the students of Maharashtra can pursue their higher education and complete their degree from IGNOU Mumbai Regional Centre. Applicants with a 10+2 pass are eligible for a UG program.
To apply for a PG program, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or a higher degree in the same field as the chosen subject with an aggregate of 45% marks from a respective university. Mumbai Regional Centre of IGNOU offers 126 academic programs for various UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate levels. Students can also re-register for the next semester. Applicants have to pay the processing fee of around INR 300 for the application form through online mode.
The Mumbai Regional Centre handles all official business, including registration, fees, and admissions. The Study Centre, on the other hand, manages student assignments and exams for students in Maharashtra.
