Students need to submit assignments of each subject before appearing in the end-term examination. IGNOU conducts exams 2 times a year, in June and December. Students will get flexibility to give exams. Students’ marks will be based on their assignments (30% weightage) and end-term examinations (70% weightage).
Students passing the criteria require at least 40% marks separately in both end-term exams and assignments. Students will get grades ranging from A+ (85% and above) to C (40% to 49%). Students who fail to qualify for the exam can reappear in subsequent exams within their program.
