IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar: The Indira Gandhi National Open University was established in 1999, and it is located in the Kashmir Campus. The Srinagar centre started with just 4 programs and approximately 1,000 students. Today, it has grown significantly, catering to over 50,000 students across 45 study centers, which include 32 regular study centers, 1 special study center, and 12 program study centers.

The Centre holds regular sessions for counselors and part-time employees of Program Study Centres (PSCs) and Learner Support Centres (LSCs) on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month. Dr. A. H. Rizvi currently serves as the Senior Regional Director of the IGNOU Regional Centre in Srinagar. Fee Range of Master’s degree, PG diploma, and Advanced Certificate Course

The fee range will be between INR 7000 and INR 25000 per semester. PG Diploma in Disaster Management (PGDDM) fee is Rs. 6300, whereas the PG Diploma in Translation (PGDT) fee is Rs. 4000.
