IGNOU CHR Admission 2026: Registration for the July 2026 academic session has started. Students who would like to enroll can visit the IGNOU Samarth portal for the Certificate in Human Rights admission. The last date of application is 15 July 2026. This program is a suitable option for students and working professionals who want to learn the basics of human rights shortly and flexibly.

Candidates who have completed their 10+2 with 45% marks can easily apply, and there is no age limit for this course. This program includes 2 main subjects that introduce students to the evolution of human rights, key concepts and major concerns. It is a 6-month short-term program, and can be completed in 2 years. CHR  is a semester-wise course provided in English and Hindi, and the fee for CHR at IGNOU is INR 3,200 for the duration of 6 months, which may also go up to 2 years. along with a one-time non-refundable registration fee of INR 300. IGNOU CHR Admission Eligibility Criteria

The second part is the term-end exam. This is a bigger test that happens at the end of each semester. It covers everything you’ve studied and counts for 70% of your marks.
